Introduction

Welcome to the ThreatKey Quick Start guide! This resource is designed to help you hit the ground running with ThreatKey, a powerful platform that enables holistic security posture management across your entire organization. Let's dive in.

Getting started

  • Step 1: Create an Account: Start by signing up for a ThreatKey account. It's a quick process—just provide your email address and create your account. No passwords are required, your account is secured with a magic link sent to your email address.
  • Step 2: Setup Your Environment: Once you've created your account, you'll want to setup your environment. This process involves adding all your different platforms and tools that you want to monitor and manage.
  • Step 3: Connect Your Sources and Destinations: ThreatKey supports a wide range of integrations. You can connect data sources like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Atlassian Suite, and many more. You can also set up destinations for your findings such as Jira, Slack, or PagerDuty.
  • Step 4: Review Findings: After connecting your sources, ThreatKey will start identifying security risks and misconfigurations, presenting them as findings on your dashboard. Review these findings to understand your security posture.
  • Step 5: Remediate Findings: Each finding provides detailed information about the identified issue, potential impacts, and suggested remediation steps. Address each finding to improve your security posture.

Ongoing management

With ThreatKey, ongoing management of your organization's security posture is streamlined and simplified. You can track the status of your findings, see trends over time, and receive notifications of new and outstanding issues.
